Question!
Can characters on solo quests post sooner than the twelve hour mark to start new threads or post for a new day once the anthem goes up?
Answer:
No.
Day Two mistake: However, Meadow mistakenly answered the opposite earlier, so to be fair and to hopefully help mitigate confusion (and so people who might have posted already don't have to have their posts deleted), for Day Two the solo quests can post before the twelve hour mark once for their new day post/thread if they've already written out their posts. This is an exception because I made a mistake. Sorry for the mix up guys.

Do we still roll dice to start a fire if a character has matches? I feel like I found the answer to this question at one point, but I went looking for where it was mentioned before and can't find it! So sorry if this is a repeat or obvious one! XD

Question: Are you required to roll for fire if using matches?
Answer: No. Matches equal auto-fire.

Does a thrown cat equal an impromptu weapon and if so, what's the dice roll on that?

Yes, it can be used as a weapon. Impromptu weapons are 15 max.

Can one, say, drop a cat down a pipe for the purposes of SCIENCE? EDIT: Or just objects in general. Things that aren't people!

You can take things, but they must be actively taken. That is, your character must physically grab the item and bring it with him. You cannot just say that a cat "happened" to follow you from an island.

What's in the first aid kits provided in backpacks?
I'm looking them up online, but apparently they include some things that could be improvisational/impromptu weapons (ex: tweezers and scissors).

Ah, looks like my question requires a bit of clarification. I mean to say if...for example, if one were to physically lift and drop a cat down the pipes without actually following after it, can one roll to see where it goes? Or even inanimate objects (say a twig)? Like can you put things down the pipes without actually following them? (for science!)

Okay... weird-ish question...
The fish you find in the rivers, how big are they? Like would you be able to make a meal out of one or would you need to eat a few, along with other things of course?

The Cornucopia is burning, seeing how the islands can be seen from some points in other islands, and the Cornucopia is a relatively small island... would the Tributes in other islands be able to see the fire or the smoke at all?
