Lizzie found herself in the fish market of the City one afternoon. And it wasn't surprising for two reasons: a) it often reminded Lizzie of back home in the Districts before she moved herself and her brother to the City, and
she was looking for supplies again to try to recreate some Capitolite food she had tried during the last Games. These two reasons combined made it so it wasn't very surprising that Lizzie was at the market.
Standing at a vendor, she was eyeing the different fish on display, trying to think of which had the right coloring and texture that would work with the dish she was trying to recreate. It had been some honey mustard baked fish with a bed of fancy rice and steamed vegetables. One of the easier dishes she was trying to recreate for her and her brother, but she couldn't remember exactly what fish had been used in the dish.
And well, considering she was so busy concentrating on trying to remember the fish, it was a surprise when Lizzie was suddenly being hit in the face with one. "Wait, what?!"
she screamed, grabbing a fish and holding it out in defense.
