• Next Hunger Games
Our next Hunger Games is a little different than our previous ones. Called "Battle Royale," this Hunger Games will feature one lucky class to be sent to the Hunger Games together. Mr. Dressler's honors history class tried to ignite revolution in Panem. And for their trouble, they will be sent to the arena together. Join us by making a high school junior (16-17 years old) from District 11. See the Battle Royale Subforum for more information. We aim to start in December so now's the time to start developing your character!

Thank you to Suzanne Collins for the creation of Panem and The Hunger Games trilogy. And thank you for the following people who contributed to site design: Ring Wang: banner slideshow code, Revo: fixed sidebar code, Gem: site skin(s).

And many thanks to Sixth Station members for their characters, posts, creativity and work. Thank you to everyone mentioned and unmentioned for the work put into making this site the great board it is.

Thank You

After four years, we have decided to close down Sixth Station. The site has meant so much to many of us who spent countless hours into our game. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our game.

The 101-Fall Hunger Games are wrapping up. You have 24-48 hours to enter the final posts. Members can still post in the "History of Sixth Station" and the "Connection" forums.

New Posts Justice Building
Functioning as both the town hall and mayor’s office, the Justice Building is one of the most infamous places in the City. This is where the tributes go once they’ve been reaped. But on a day-to-day basis, people visit the Justice Building for other reasons, including petitions to move or travel outside of the greater Sixth Station area.

New Posts Gardens
Peaceful gardens in the centre of the city offer respite for the busy city-dweller. Amongst the noises of the surrounding roads and businesses, this sprawling garden has a wide field for picnics and paths that lead through forests of flowers. The majority of the gardens are gated off by short, white picket fences. District Five gardeners tend to these public gardens.

New Posts City Centre Mall
The City Mall is the biggest shopping centre in several hundred miles. Three stories tall, the mall boasts over two hundred stores from clothing to books to candles. There is a sizeable food court. Some shops offer discounts to various districts. Bus stops and a subway stop are both within walking distance from the mall.

New Posts Pier
At the edge of the city where the waves lap against the shore are several small shops and restaurants. A pier stretches out into the cold blue waters, offering people view of the ocean. Restaurants, a ferris wheel, and bumper cars attract visitors, but some find serenity in the benches that allow one to take in the sounds of sea lions barking under the wooden slats as they watch the sun set in the western waters.

New Posts Fish Market
From sunrise to sunset, the fish market is a busy place for people to share their ocean wares. Fish of all varieties can be found here, some as far away as the east coast of Panem. Prices vary depending upon season and availability, but District Four residents almost always receive a special discount pending vendor permission. Once the sun sets, the fish market grows quieter as the shops close, but it never really dies down.
