There are actually several large evac centres located outside of the districts, but this, for simplicity's sake, is a single one. It's a large compound which the residents were bused to, and it's a sturdy structure made of concrete. There are several large rooms holding five to six dozen cots. One room is reserved for mothers with small children, but the other rooms are a free-for-all. The compound also has the following:
+ A dining hall / cafeteria-style eating place
+ Recreation room, approximately the size of a gymnasium w/ a few sports equipment
+ Outdoor patio, with a small overhang and plenty of space on a grassy field (but remember, it's raining)
+ Showers/bathrooms, one for men and one for women
There are Peacekeepers everywhere. Food and supplies are regulated. People can bring personal belongings within reason. No bringing your Mercedes or boat or tricycle. Well, okay, maybe the tricycle. But ah, just remember that things could get stolen, etc.
Uhm, I think that's it.
Oh yeah, lights go out at 9:00 PM sharp.
