• Next Hunger Games
Our next Hunger Games is a little different than our previous ones. Called "Battle Royale," this Hunger Games will feature one lucky class to be sent to the Hunger Games together. Mr. Dressler's honors history class tried to ignite revolution in Panem. And for their trouble, they will be sent to the arena together. Join us by making a high school junior (16-17 years old) from District 11. See the Battle Royale Subforum for more information. We aim to start in December so now's the time to start developing your character!

Dick could often be so stupid. Today, he had given Mauricia and Tony a piece of paper which clearly stated that they were allowed to leave District Eleven in order to fullfill a mission he had given to them. Which mission was, cut wood for the winter. It was insane, but none of the peacekeepers dared to stop them when they showed them the piece of paper. Sometimes it was not that bad to be the daughter of the Head Peacekeeper.

Mauricia was holding and axe and she tried to ignore her 'brother'. Although he was not as annoying as his smelly sister, Mauricia still disliked him. Sometimes she wished that their mother was still alive, so they wouldn't have to live under the same roof.

Mauricia saw some tall trees and turned to Tony. " Let's finish with them and return home." she said coldly and walked towards the tree which was nearer to her. Although she was wearing a coat, she still felt cold, especially when she was in the forest.

Tony wasn't to happy about the task that was given. He didn't want to leave Midna, she was the only person he really had left. She was stuck at him with that dick, Dick. He held the axe in his hand, and followed Mauricia. A Peacekeeper had tried to stop them, but that little note had scared them away. The axe felt good in his hands, and he missed his family again. He missed his mom, and how her smile would lighten up the darkest of days. Tony missed her dearly. But he had to forget those days, and continue.

The had stopped, and Mauricia gave her orders, and he did them. Even though she was little, she scared him. A lot, in fact. He always got a weird feeling when around her, as if she would turn around, and chop off his head if she could.

He nodded, and walked to a different tree than Mauricia, and began chopping at it.

"So, why are you at Dick's?"

He could at least try to talk with her, it's not like she wou- scratch that, she probably would.

Stupid questions. Mauricia decided to ignore Tony for a while, as she started hitting the tree with her axe. The sooner they finished with their stupid task, the better. Tony was pretty strong, at least, so Mauricia doubted that they were going to spend too much time in the forest.

" My mother died." she answered after a couple of minutes, as she hitted the tree another time. Did he really have to ask? Wasn't it obvious? All three of them moved to Dick's because their mothers died. " We live together almost a month and you still don't know why?" she asked with clear sarcasm in her voice.

Mauricia sighed. The rich kids were always so stupid. They didn't have to use their brains because mommy and daddy did all the difficult work for them. " Just shut up and work." she commanded Tony as she hit the tree with more anger now.
