• Next Hunger Games
Our next Hunger Games is a little different than our previous ones. Called "Battle Royale," this Hunger Games will feature one lucky class to be sent to the Hunger Games together. Mr. Dressler's honors history class tried to ignite revolution in Panem. And for their trouble, they will be sent to the arena together. Join us by making a high school junior (16-17 years old) from District 11. See the Battle Royale Subforum for more information. We aim to start in December so now's the time to start developing your character!

After four years, we have decided to close down Sixth Station. The site has meant so much to many of us who spent countless hours into our game. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our game.

The 101-Fall Hunger Games are wrapping up. You have 24-48 hours to enter the final posts. Members can still post in the "History of Sixth Station" and the "Connection" forums.

" Eponine?" Azelma whispered as she walked through trees, rocks and small plants. " Eponine?"

They were supposed to meet in the forest, but Azelma was not sure where. The forest was huge and all the trees seemed similar to her. They were all tall and covered by a thick foliage, despite the fact that it was winter just a few weeks ago. District Nine was always covered by a thick blanket of snow during winter-time and the girl was surprised that there was no snow in the forst. It was a lot colder there and the girl started to regret the fact that she hadn't brought her ugly, old jacket with her. It was starting to get cold, but she didn't want to return home and get the jacket. That would be a waste of time.

" Eponine?" she allowed herself to whisper loudly, but as soon as she did her heart started beating faster. What if someone, other than Eponine heard her? There were surely peacekeepers patroling in the woods, even if she hadn't seen any so far. If she got caught she would surely end up being executed, or avoxed. Sometimes Azelma really wondered if she was more afraid of peacekeepers than the Hunger Games.

" There you are." she whispered as she removed a couple of leaves her way. " Why did we have to meet here, Eponine? It's so cold and we may get caught and get arrested, and then get executed!"

WHEN HE SAW HER RAISED FOR THE SLAUGHTER
ABRAHAM'S DAUGHTER RAISED HER BOW

As of late, Éponine had taken on full responsibility of raising her siblings. She would frown as she watched them, both so young and already corrupt; it pained her to see such wonderful children suffer. In no way did Éponine want her siblings to grow up like her: miserable and still reliant on her father's crime. They had long lives ahead of them and they deserved the best. She had often told Marius about her crazy ideas to find a steady job, save up money and move all the way across the District, as far away from her parents as possible, and take them with her. She didn't mind walking across the District to see Marius but that wasn't the point. The point was, the three siblings desperately needed to get away.

The next step in her mock parenthood was something very crucial in Éponine's opinion. All three of them knew how to survive and how to make do with the little they had, but they were all lacking in real survival skills... all of them. Éponine carried with her two bows, a quiver of arrows and various knifes as she made her way through the woods. All of these things she had gotten from selling almost all of her shoes but it would prove to be worth it, Éponine could tell.

Finding Azelma near the spot Éponine had arranged, Éponine put her things down and made her way over to her sister. "Azelma, we're all going to learn something very important today," Éponine said in a hushed voice, putting her hand on her sister's shoulder. "But first we must wait for Gavroche."

HOW DAREST YOU CHILD DEFY YOUR FATHER
YOU BETTER LET YOUNG ISAAC GO

In truth, Gavroche was terribly lonely. He hated not getting to be part of a real family and he hated how his pride kept him from that. After all, isn't any child's dream to really just be loved? The young boy sighed as he fixed his sweater. Getting out of the District and into the woods was no difficult task for Gavroche since he was a master at going about unnoticed. He was surprised when Éponine sought him out on the street and told him to meet both her and Azelma in the woods. Were they going to run away together? The thought of it made him smile.

He tiptoed quietly through the forest, looking around. He had never been past the fences before; this was a new level in his stealth for him. Smiling, Gavroche hurried along to meet up with his sisters. He found them whispering behind a rather large tree and tried his best not to sneak up on them and frighten them. "All right, I'm here," he whispered back to them. Gavroche glanced down at a small pile of weapons near his feet. Confused, he looked up at his oldest sister and asked, "Éponine, what's all this about?"

Azelma's eyebrows frowned. Gavroche? A lesson? What would be so important? Why did they have to meet in the woods? Couldn't they learn this important lesson at home? Where was warm and safe? Did they have to risk everything by going in the woods, where they could get caught by peacekeepers and then die? Azelma sometimes wished her siblings were not so crazy about getting in trouble.

At least Gavroche was not late. Azelma was curious about the lesson they were going to learn today. " So, what are we supposed to do here?" she asked quietly Eponine, looking at the trees behind her sister, rather worried that a peacekeeper would pop out in any minute and kill all three of them.
