• Next Hunger Games
Our next Hunger Games is a little different than our previous ones. Called "Battle Royale," this Hunger Games will feature one lucky class to be sent to the Hunger Games together. Mr. Dressler's honors history class tried to ignite revolution in Panem. And for their trouble, they will be sent to the arena together. Join us by making a high school junior (16-17 years old) from District 11. See the Battle Royale Subforum for more information. We aim to start in December so now's the time to start developing your character!

Thank you to Suzanne Collins for the creation of Panem and The Hunger Games trilogy. And thank you for the following people who contributed to site design: Ring Wang: banner slideshow code, Revo: fixed sidebar code, Gem: site skin(s).

And many thanks to Sixth Station members for their characters, posts, creativity and work. Thank you to everyone mentioned and unmentioned for the work put into making this site the great board it is.

Thank You

After four years, we have decided to close down Sixth Station. The site has meant so much to many of us who spent countless hours into our game. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our game.

The 101-Fall Hunger Games are wrapping up. You have 24-48 hours to enter the final posts. Members can still post in the "History of Sixth Station" and the "Connection" forums.

New Posts City Center
The heart of the Capitol is the bright, extravagant city center. Businesses, offices and apartments crowd the packed city blocks. Bright lights flash advertisements and recap footage of the Hunger Games.

New Posts City Centre
The heart of the City, the centre houses government buildings, offices, popular restaurants and attractions. It’s on the edge of the city facing the western coast where the sea breezes are strong and the air salty. A great many people work here in the office buildings that regulate district goods, while others come here for shopping, entertainment, and travel passes.

New Posts Industrial Sectors
Two industrial sectors cater to the manufacturing of raw materials into sellable goods and storage of resources. A sizeable chunk of the population works in manufacturing and transporting/storage. These sectors contain factories and warehouses, but there are also small stores and discount shops. Normally the upper district residents do not shop in these places, but one can find a good deal if one knows where to look.

New Posts Around the City
The Capitol is a large, sprawling city and there are many things to see and do that are not within the city centre itself. Here you'll find other places of residence, attractions, and locales of interest.

New Posts Northern City
As the urban parts of the city thin into the suburban housing, the northern section of the city provides shops and places of interest in between. It is pretty similar to the southern part of the city.

New Posts Suburbs
The suburbs of the Capitol are alive and bright despite being considerably calmer than its urban counterpart. Here you will find homes, strip malls, schools, etc for those who prefer life a little on the quieter side.

New Posts Southern City
The southern section of the city, like the northern part of the city, provides a place for people to travel about their day-to-day lives. Grocery stores, the hospital, and library are popular places for people to visit in their routines. It is pretty similar to the northern part of the city.

New Posts Residences
Almost all residences are on the eastern portion of the city, though each district is separated into distinct neighborhoods. Quality of housing and size of lots vary based upon relative wealth of individual districts. Victors also have Victor Villages here, though each village is its own entity existing within the respective district.

New Posts Coastline
The City is lucky to have miles of beautiful coastline. Travel outside of the City is allowed. No travel passes are needed to visit the coast within a specified distance of the City, but many people are too busy in their daily routines to make the journey to the unclaimed lands of Panem’s western coast. There are hidden treasures of nature within the beaches and caves.

New Posts Forests and Surrounding Areas
Forests surround the City on almost all sides. While there are roads and rail lines leading to the City, there is also a large portion of unsettled land. District residents may travel here, though they must stay within a certain range without authorization.
